The Dialogue Gala Concert at EXPO in Shanghai was a huge succes

The Dialogue Gala Concert at the EXPO Center Hall in Shanghai was held as part of the Danish National Day<br>June the 29th. Lars Hannibal was the curator of this exceptional concert where leading artist from Denmartk and China meet in an artisc intercultural dialogue. Shanghai Symphony Orchestra conducted by Danish Maestro Bellincampi played Nielsen Ouverture from Maskerade, Danish Soprano Inger Dam Jensen was soloist in Schierbeck`s Chinese Flute composed on ancient Chinese poems. Michala Petri played Tang Jianping`s FeiGe, and young Chinese violinist Chen Yi played Nielsen Violin Concerto. Chen Yue, on the Chinese Bamboo Flute Xiao, played Chinese Folkmusic, and a world premiere of "Better City-Better Life" for Trumpet solo and 2 dancers by&nbsp; Danish Trumpet Soloist and composer Palle Mikkelborg, was performed by the composer. principal dancer Yaowei from Shanghai and principal dancer Ulrik Birkkjær from Copenhagen. They also did a fantastic version on "La Sylphide" by Bournonville.The beautiful and visionary light was in the hand of lightdesigners Jesper Kongshaug and Malthe Hauggåd and the stage sound was made by Morten Büchert.<br>The concert was broadcast in Chinese Televison July the 4th!
