Lars Hannibal began - as many others of his generation - playing the folk/rock guitar at the age of 15 . After hearing the spanish legend Andrès Segovia play the Gavotte from Bach`s E-Major Partita, he decided to start playing the classical guitar. Since the early seventies Lars Hannibal has also composed songs and instrumental pieces. Today Hannibal primarily performs as part of the Petri/Hannibal Duo, and works as CEO at the label OUR Recordings, which he founded together with Michala Petri in 2006, and as consultant for Edition Borup-Jørgensen.
