Twenty years ago, OUR Recordings was founded on a simple yet enduring conviction: that great music deserves more than simply being captured, it deserves to be nurtured, documented with exceptional care, and presented in the finest possible artistic and technical quality. Since its establishment in 2006 by Michala Petri and Lars Hannibal, the label has grown from an ambitious independent venture into one of the Nordic region's leading classical record companies, admired internationally for its uncompromising artistic standards and distinctive productions.
Throughout these two decades, OUR Recordings has created a catalogue of more than one hundred albums, embracing celebrated masterpieces, neglected repertoire, world premieres, and newly commissioned works. From internationally acclaimed soloists and chamber ensembles to symphony orchestras and choirs, every release reflects a shared belief that artistic excellence flourishes when musicians are given the freedom, time, and trust to realize their artistic vision.
