Recording of Bach Flute Sonatas

From June the 11th to June the 14th Michala Petri, Mahan Esfahani and Hille Perl will record J.S.Bach Flute Sonatas in Garnisonskirken in Copenhagen. Release is scheduled to be October 2019. On this recording Mahan will play his new harpsichiord made by the Finish builder Jukka Olikka,- with a soundboard made by carbon fiber.

28 wonderful songs from the Danish Song Treasure is just oploaded,- if you like these songs, you won´t get it any better! Again it is the international choir Danish National Vocal Ensemble,- and this time with conductor Bo Holten, who for more than 40 years have worked with these songs. The Title is "Årstiderne" and reflect the 4 Seasons. Release is scheduled to be August 2018.

International release of "MARIN" The animation fantasy, both a DVD and SACD

Today is the official international release date for this amazing MARIN project. First time ever an animation fanatsi is created in CGI (Computer Generated Images) on a moderne symphonic work.
The music is the masterpiece Marin op. 60 by Danish composer Axel Borup-Jørgensen,- and the music is recorded by Danish National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Thomas Søndergård. The film is created under the direction of Morten Bartholdy for Lückow film, OUR Recordings and Edition Borup-Jørgensen.

The next 3 days Michala Petri and Concerto Copenhagen conducted by Lars Ulrik Mortensen will play concerts togehther. It is the first time they play together,- and the concerts are in Ålborg Musikhus, Gram Castle, and Garinsonskirken in Copenhagen. The concerts in Copenhagen will be live broadcast in 8 European countries by Danish National Radio.
