Today OUR Recordings finished the recording of "Danish Recorder Concertos" in the brand ny excellent concert hall "Musikkens Hus" in Aalborg. Henrik Vagn Christensen conducted Aalborg Symphony Orchestra in Thomas Koppel: "Moonchilds Dream",- Pelle Gudmundsen-Holmgreen: "Chacun Sun Sun" and Sunleif Rasmussen: "Territorial Songs". Soloist Michala petri and producer Preben Iwan. This CD is nr. 3 in the series of Recorder Concertos from different countries,- and release is scheduled to be November 2014!

Next week Michala Petri will record "Danish Recorder Concertos" in the new concert hall in Aalborg,- "Musikkens Hus",- with Aalborg Symphony Orchestra conducted by Henrik Vagn Christensen. The works are: Thomas Koppel: Moonchilds Dream,- Pelle Gudmundsen-Holmgreen: Chacun Sun Sun and Sunleif Rasmussen: Territorial Songs. Producer will be:Preben Iwan!

The result will be announced live in DR P2 and on Televison DR K on Friday February the 7th.

Michala Petri signede today a "Project Sponsor Agreement" with Edition Borup-Jørgensen

For the first time Michala Petri signed a sponsor agreement. The agreement with Edition Borup-Jørgensen will last 2 years. The idea is financial to support some of Michala Petri`s Projects,- especially the projects where "New Music" is the counterpoint! The Danish composer Axel Borup-Jørgensen, who died last year, wrote over the last 35 years many compositions for Michala Petri. The sponsorship will also focus on bringing knowledge to this great Danish composers music in general!
