Concert at London´s Wigmore Hall

Sunday the 26th Michala and Hannibal returned to play a concert at the Wigmore Hall. It was, as always, a joy to play in this marvellous accoustic and very special atmosphere. One can almost feel the spirit of all the great artist who has played there during the years!<br>The repertoire was very new for the duo, and included works for flute and guitar by Mauro Giuliani, Castelnuovo-Tedesco and Astor Piazzolla.
Trip to China and Korea

In october Michala, together with Lars Hannibal, had her China debut in the Shanghai International Festival of Arts in He Luting Hall at Shanghai Conservatory of Music. During their stay in Shanghai they also played an Open Air Concert -right in the center of Shanghai on the new great stage on the famous Nanjing Road.<br>They also participated in the Shanghai International Arts Fair. Here, and during her visit in China alltogether, she came to know Chinese composers and musicians, with whom she in the nearest future will start to collaborate.<br>The concert in Korea took place in the newly build Chung Mu Art Hall in Seoul. A beauitful hall with a superb acoustic, made especially for chamber music.
THOMAS KOPPEL CD release

In a few days "Los Angeles Street Concerto"- the CD with music by Thomas Koppel will be released on DACAPO records. Shanghai International Arts Fair

After concerts in Japan, I participated in a music Fair for the first time,- Shanghai International Arts Fair.
Recording of Mozart Flute Quartets

Michala just came back from Baltic Studio on Bornholm, where she recorded Mozarts 4 Flute Quartets with German violinist Caroline Widmann, Lituanian viola player Uli Ulijona and Estonian cello player Martha Sudraba. The recording is scheduled to be released on OUR Recordings early 2008.
PR and rehearsal trip to China

Tour in Portugal and Spain

In the Easter Michala and I played at the Centro Cultural de Sao Lourenco in Almancil in Portugal, and the Monestary La Cartuja de las Sierra north of Sevilla.<br>I have visiting this winderfull place many times before, and even recorded there.
2 Danish "Grammy`s" to Thomas Koppel

Michala Petri`s latest CD with music by Thomas Koppel just received the Danish Music Award for the best Orchestra CD 2006. Also it won the price as "The Best Classical CD of the year".
Recording with Inga Nielsen

Together with Michala Petri I recorded the spirutual " Sweet Little Jesus Boy" with the great Danish soprano Inga Nielsen.
